Lighting systems that work perfectly in stormy weather or high humidity, but equally well inside buildings, were presented today by the world’s largest manufacturer to over 100 entertainment industry specialists, TV producers, theatre designers, property developers, architects and interior designers.
The Chauvet Lighting team gave live demonstrations highlighting the innovation of the systems used in the equipment of TV studios, theatres, performance and event halls as well as architectural lighting.
“I was happy to learn about the challenges of the specialists in this industry. In Romania we are already working, through our partner Backstage Production Group, on large-scale projects such as the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, architectural lighting of iconic public buildings, as well as large-scale concerts“, said Goran Dončić – EMEA Business Development Manager.
The stars of the event were the latest technologies presented by Chauvet worldwide:
- Maverick silens 2 profile – The quietest moving head profile with LED ever produced, for theatre and TV studios.
- OnAir IP Panel – Full spectrum soft light specially designed for all the rigors of television, with IP65 and CRI 95, full color.
- Color STRIKE M – IP65 motorized wash/strobe (Tilt 180dgr) with 2 ultra-bright white tubes flanked by two electrifying LED panels with pixel-mapping capability.
For its Maverick Silens 2 Profile system, the US company received the “Plasa 2021″ award for innovation last year.
“Maverick Silens2Profile was designed specifically for theatre and TV installations. It sums up all the benefits of a moving light profile without any noise. OnAir panels are specifically designed for podcasts, as it can film in any environment. Color STRIKE M is our latest product to take the industry by storm. It is much more than a strobe“, said Goran Dončić – EMEA Business Development Manager.
Adding, Eusebio Romero Garcia – Product Specialist Chauvet said:
“It’s not enough to design spectacular LED systems. The processes that add value to our products are: design (thanks to constant feedback from customers and industry specialists), production (thanks to the dedicated team overseeing the process), quality control (thanks to permanent testing and special storage of products), durability and diversity.”
This scale of values and the variety of lighting systems have been successfully taken over by the sole distributor of Chauvet products in Romania, the company Backstage Production Group.
“Because we have access to the latest technology in the field – both through our high-end technological facilities (stage, sound, lighting, video equipment, etc.) and through the international partnerships we have, we can implement large-scale events based on a compact, perfectly coordinated team. We also rely on the same commitment of forces in projects where we provide turnkey smart audio-video systems and installations, as well as professional lighting solutions“, explained Andrei Popéa, General Manager Backstage Production Group.
The event was interactive, so guests could discover all the advantages of the “Professional” range of products for theatre performances, TV productions, concerts, hotels and more, as well as the new “Iluminarc” range of equipment for architectural lighting.
